- I'm looking for a first bike to learn on and to fix myself. I don't have any experience riding, so I'd like a bike that I can learn on and one that won't kill me! I'd like a 2 cylinder bike, but 4 doesn't bother me either. I've been looking at several Suzuki GS550's in the 80's year range, but they haven't been running.
I'm wanting to spend less than $550 for this bike, and I'll only spend that much if the bike is in good running condition as I don't have a lot of cash to put into a new vehicle/hobby. I know I'm being a bit cheap, but I can only spend what I've got.
